SideKick Product Spotlight

Spotlight: Shift Lesson Plans
Isn’t it interesting how a seemingly small feature can make a huge difference? This seems to be the case with SideKick’s new "Shift" feature. At first glance you may not even notice it’s there, but mouse over a day of the week and “Shift Lessons” appears. Click on it and this feature allows teachers to shift all of their lessons forward a day or back a day. This is most convenient when school is cancelled due to inclement weather.  When you come back to school you can shift all your lessons forward a day and you can continue as normal.

Spotlight: File Cabinet

SideKick's new File Cabinet allows you to store your lesson plans in a folder structure for easier re-use in the future.  When you create a lesson, you have the option to save that lesson to a folder in your File Cabinet. From your File Cabinet, you can create new folders and organize lessons into the folders quickly and easily. You can also view the lesson details and assign a lesson to your calendar from this page. Teachers have the freedom to organize plans in a manner that works best for their classroom.
